NFL player gets drug tested after “Nigerian foods” gave him “fastest speed”

Some say, a man is a reflection of what he eats, others say what you eat is who you are.

So, when Chidobe Awuzie, got called in for a randomized performance-enhancing drug (PED) test, everyone wondered why, but he wasn’t worried.

The Dallas Cowboy’s cornerback had broken a 2017 NFL record of the fastest speed by a player, after chasing down Saquon Barkley of the Giants.

For Awuzie, it was all in the day’s work.

That was until he got called in for the PED test and passed; only then did he find out his record breaking feat of 22.81 mph, and shared the secret to his speed.

…”I don’t even drink protein shakes. I just eat Nigerian food. Fufu, rice and stew, chicken, plantain, meat, goat meat.”

Awuzie did find the whole issue funny though…
