English actor and author, Orlando Bloom’s upcoming movie, The Outpost, is headed to theaters in July.

The movie has joined Unhinged in becoming one of the first movies to return to the cinemas instead of taking a VOD route, Variety reports.

Also starring Scott Eastwood, The Outpost centers on the 2009 attack by 400 Taliban insurgents in the Battle of Kamdesh in the Afghanistan War. Bravo Troop 3-61 CAV became one of the most decorated units of the 19-year conflict.

The Outpost is expected to release on July 2 to 500 theaters, with Fathom Events, which is a joint venture between the AMC, Cinemark and Regal chains with a specialty in one-night screenings

The film is based on Jake Tapper’s best-selling non-fiction book of the same name
