Pastor Adeboye helps battle coronavirus with major donation to Lagos

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has reportedly donated a full ward of “Category A Ventilators” at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

According to the reports the equipment afforded the ward with an oxygen plant and a modern intensive care unit, which also came with complete Ventilators that cost between $10,000-$30,000.

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) is one of the Nigerian hospitals that can treat Coronavirus patients.

Meanwhile, the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Lagos, Prof. Wasiu Adeyemo, has advised the public to stop coming to the hospital, any general hospitals, or Federal Medical Centre, for any suspected case of COVID-19 testing.

Adeyemo restated that the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Yaba, has been designated as the centre that would handle suspected case of Coronavirus, where infectious disease experts are expected to take blood samples and send it to their designated laboratory.
